This outreach to people in need grew out of a compassionate heart to help families get help for life controlling issues.  These include addiction, and mental health, as well as incarceration. Those who have served their country in the military capacity have many of those same needs. Programs and government services are caught up in red tape and move very slowly.

Assessments, interviews, waiting lists, financial support and medical tests must all be coordinated and satisfied with the fastest time responses possible. Clients and their families may be overwhelmed by the forms, applications and program rules. Without support and guidance they may give up trying to get help.

The mission of this ministry is to get clients in urgent need treatment with the emphasis being “urgent.” Lives hang in the balance, much like wounded soldiers in combat needing immediate treatment for their life threatening wounds.  We pray that God will continue to use us successfully as His loving arms and capable hands.  We utilize the best of all treatment tools whether they be clinical, 12 step or faith based. Chaplain John Petruska has had a spiritual awakening for the purpose of helping those who are in need. He is also a disabled veteran of the Viet Nam War.
